Over-the-Rhine
Over-the-Rhine, often referred to as OTR by locals, is one of Cincinnati’s most historic and culturally rich neighborhoods. This lively district was originally settled by German immigrants in the 19th century, and it still retains much of its Old World charm today. OTR is home to Findlay Market, Ohio’s oldest continuously operated public market, where you can shop for fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and more. The neighborhood also boasts a vibrant arts scene, with galleries like the Contemporary Arts Center and music venues that host live jazz and blues. Don’t miss the murals and Italianate architecture along Vine Street. Stop for a drink at one of OTR’s many craft breweries or cocktail bars. With trendy new restaurants and boutiques popping up beside historic buildings, Over-the-Rhine has become one of Cincinnati’s hottest destinations.
